Vehicle Technician

We are currently seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our client’s well-established automotive business in Chingford, London. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Vehicle Technicians looking to advance their careers within a reputable and supportive workshop environment focused on high standards and safety. The Vehicle Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicle makes and models, with a particular emphasis on hybrid and electric systems.

Duties:
* Conduct vehicle diagnostics following manufacturer procedures
* Perform repairs, services, and maintenance, including timing chains, cambelts, and engine rebuilds
* Diagnose and repair hybrid and electric vehicle systems
* Complete MOT tests (preferred but not essential)
* Ensure all work complies with high-quality standards and health and safety regulations
* Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out
Requirements:
* At least 5-10 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician
* Level 4 hybrid/EV qualification
* Proven expertise with timing chains, cambelts, and engine rebuilds
* MOT experience is desirable but not essential
* Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop
