How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Reception Teacher - Southall

    Location: Southall, West London
    Start Date: September 2026
    Contract: Full-time
    Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience

    Reeson Education are currently working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Southall who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years Teacher or an ECT looking to join a nurturing school where children are at the heart of everything they do.

    The Role

    As the Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating, engaging and nurturing learning environment where children can develop their confidence, independence and love of learning.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework.

    Supporting children's academic, social and emotional development.

    Creating an exciting and stimulating classroom environment.

    Assessing and tracking pupil progress effectively.

    Working closely with teaching assistants and other members of staff.

    Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers.

    Contributing to the wider life of the school.

    The Ideal Candidate

    The school are looking for a Reception Teacher who is:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

    Passionate about Early Years education.

    Confident planning and delivering engaging lessons.

    Warm, nurturing and enthusiastic.

    Able to build strong relationships with children and families.

    Organised, proactive and a strong team player.

    Committed to providing the very best outcomes for every child.
