How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About you

You are a Production Manager who enjoys being at the heart of a busy print environment. You understand how to keep production moving, people motivated and quality consistently high. You are just as comfortable on the shop floor as you are planning workloads, solving problems and making sure every job is delivered on time.

You enjoy leading by example. You support your team, communicate well with different departments and take pride in running an organised, efficient production operation. If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely influence how a production department performs, this is well worth exploring.

    Your experience

You have experience managing production within large format print, print finishing or a similar print manufacturing environment.

You understand production planning, quality control, resource management and how to balance multiple jobs while maintaining high standards. You are confident leading production teams, managing temporary staff when required and ensuring health and safety remains a priority.

You have a good understanding of print production processes, materials and equipment, along with the ability to work closely with account managers, suppliers and the wider business to keep projects moving smoothly.

What you will be doing with your experience in this role

You will oversee the day to day running of production, ensuring work is planned effectively, resources are allocated correctly and every project is delivered on schedule.

You will lead and support the production team, coordinating workloads across both large and small format print while maintaining quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Working closely with account managers and suppliers, you will resolve production challenges, manage materials and outsourced services, and ensure communication remains strong from order through to delivery.

You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment performance, improving workflows, reducing waste and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency as the business continues to grow.

    About the business

You would be joining an established creative print business with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality work across a wide range of sectors.

The company combines creativity with production expertise, investing in its people, equipment and processes to ensure clients receive an exceptional service. It is a collaborative environment where your ideas will be valued and where you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on the day to day operation.
