How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Manage projects from handover through to completion.

    * Plan and monitor project schedules, budgets and resources.

    * Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders.

    * Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout each project.

    * Review project specifications, drawings and technical documentation.

    * Monitor costs, timescales, quality and project risks.

    * Identify and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule.

    * Coordinate with procurement to ensure equipment and materials are available when required.

    * Ensure projects meet company, health and safety and industry standards.

    * Lead progress meetings and provide regular project updates.

    * Maintain accurate project records and handover documentation.

    Skills & Experience

    * Previous experience in project management, project coordination or a technical role.

    * Good understanding of technical systems, ideally within engineering, electrical, electronic or IT settings.

    * Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

    * Comfortable managing budgets, schedules, resources and project documentation.

    * Able to work independently, make decisions and take ownership of projects.

    * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

    * Good understanding of health and safety requirements.

    * Full UK driving licence with the flexibility to travel to customer sites when required.

    Benefits:

    * Company vehicle and fuel card provided.

    * Private healthcare as part of the benefits package.

    * Company pension scheme.

    * Hybrid working, with a balance of office and customer-site responsibilities.

    * Varied technical projects across an exciting and evolving sector.

    * Training and development opportunities to support your career progression.

This is a hybrid role, combining time in the office working closely with the Technical Director and wider project team, alongside regular visits to customer sites. A full UK driving licence is required, with flexibility to travel to customer locations as needed
