How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electronics EngineerLocation: Norwich
    Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
    Permanent Full-Time

    We’re recruiting for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join a highly technical engineering business in Diss, working on innovative electronic systems for demanding, performance-focused applications.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on design, problem solving and taking products from concept through to testing and production.

    The RoleYou’ll be involved across the full electronics development lifecycle, including:

    Designing and developing electronic hardware and systems
    Schematic capture and PCB layout
    Sensor integration and development
    Analogue and digital circuit design
    RF and wireless technologies
    CAN/CAN FD systems
    Prototyping, testing and validation
    Fault finding and root-cause analysis
    Supporting products through to manufacture
    Working closely with software, systems and manufacturing teamsAbout YouWe’re looking for an Electronics Engineer with:

    Experience in automotive, motorsport or a similar high-performance environment
    A BEng in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
    Strong circuit design and troubleshooting experience
    Experience with PCB design and development
    Knowledge of sensors, RF, EMC/EMI and CAN/CAN FD
    A hands-on approach to engineering and problem solving
    Excellent technical documentation and communication skillsExperience with embedded software, circuit simulation, advanced PCB technologies or data acquisition would be a bonus.
