Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and respond to orders and enquiries from specifiers, contractors, merchants and end users, ensuring information and support are provided accurately and in a timely manner.
* Providing accurate and timely prices, quotations, information and answers by telephone, email or in writing, as appropriate.
* Receive, process and accurately record verbal and written sales orders, quotations and any subsequent amendments using the appropriate electronic systems and documentation.
* Receive, review and provide feedback on requests for new or modified products and parts, liaising with relevant departments where required.
* Understand, implement and comply with all relevant procedures and requirements set out in the company’s Quality Manual.
* Attend meetings, conferences, seminars and training sessions as required to maintain and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
* Support the training and development of staff, providing guidance and assistance as required.
Previous Skills & Experience:
* Previous technical experience, preferably in a product-based, manufacturing or customer-focused environment.
* Excellent telephone manner and a good eye for detail.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload.
* Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience of Dynamics 365 business central systems would be an advantage.
* Understanding of the importance of data protection and adherence to the process
