How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Overview of Business

    We are partnered with a 5* PLC housebuilder based in Norwich to appoint a Senior Technical Coordinator due to the continued success of the region.

    Job description

    Reporting to the Technical Manager, to ensure that all information is available to the Construction Team and other Departments to suit the project programme. To liaise with and advise other Departments on technical and interface matters and to provide back-up and information flow. To coordinate all technical information on projects from inception to completion.

    Key Responsibilities

    *

    Manage external consultants and deliver production information to programme, fee and scope.

    *

    Produce technical specifications and lead the Design Programme.

    *

    Handle all statutory enquiries, legal agreements, NHBC/Building Regs and planning condition discharge.

    *

    Ensure working drawings align with approved planning and budget requirements.

    *

    Control production information and professional fees in partnership with Commercial.

    *

    Oversee brochure, conveyance and sales‑area drawings.

    *

    Attend site meetings, inspections and resolve technical issues.

    *

    Coordinate stakeholders across all project stages and support subcontractor selection.

    *

    Issue accurate construction drawings and respond to site queries.

    Essential experience

    * Qualified as an Architect/ Civil / Building Engineer or at a Construction related degree level or HNC/HND in a built environment subject with relevant experience.

    * A working knowledge of both house and apartment construction, Building Regulations, NHBC, Party Wall Awards and associated legislation connected with the construction industry.

    * A competent level of relevant IT skills including using AutoCAD/Revit.
