How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Tennial Personnel are recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join a well-established company based in Ipswich. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful 12 week working period of employment.

    The role is Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, working 37 hours per week.

    The role would suit a customer-focused, organised and reliable individual who is confident communicating with customers and comfortable working across a range of administrative duties. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business and dealing with customer enquiries.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Manage daily car park operations, including reviewing and processing Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) data.

    Respond to customer enquiries and appeals via online chat, email and telephone.

    Prepare and submit evidence packs for formal appeal cases.

    Provide a professional and helpful customer service experience.

    Maintain accurate records and ensure information is processed correctly.

    Complete general administrative duties to support the wider team.

    Order uniforms and purchase stock when required.

    Process and manage service requests.

    Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of operations.

    Deal with customer issues and queries in a professional and timely manner.

    Skills Required

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Strong customer service skills and a professional manner.

    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

    Confident problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.

    Good organisational and time-management skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

    Competent using Microsoft Office and general IT systems.

    Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

    Reliable and professional approach to work.

    Qualifications Required
    Previous experience in customer service, administration, contact centre or a similar environment is advantageous.

    Experience dealing with customer enquiries, complaints or appeals would be beneficial.

    Good general IT skills.

    A valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
