Purpose of the Role
The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for producing high quality technical electrical telecommunications designs for multiple projects, servicing various clients.
Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities
* Compile Electrical designs and reports using dedicated software to provide safe upgrade design path in line with requirements of the client project specific standards/specifications.
* Interpret solutions into outline designs for review and insertion into overall detailed design drawing packs.
* Review drawings for quality in design and safety in line with company and client requirements and processes.
* Liaise with project managers to ensure delivery requirements are achieved to determined deadlines agreed with clients
* Help to maintain library of Client documentation
* Support other Electrical Designers and the Team in the delivery of high quality, accurate project documentation
* Keep all internal and client systems up to date ensuring all work & milestone details are captured
* Work to strict deadlines, able to manage pressure and own work load
Skills – Essential
* Electrical qualification
* Electrical Design experience
* Computer literate such as Microsoft office
* Good level of maths and number skills
* Proven ability to work and learn in fast-paced environment
* Ability to organise work and support others in a timely and effective manner
* Able to multitask, work independently as well as in a team environment, demonstrating a collaborative approach
Salary description
£45000.00 - £65000.00 per year
