We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join a technical team supporting complex software solutions within the logistics and warehouse automation sector.
What You’ll Do:
* Develop and support commercial software using Java and Oracle.
* Provide 2nd Level Support and troubleshoot complex customer issues.
* Lead technical investigations and root cause analysis.
* Manage fixes, patches and software releases.
* Mentor and support junior developers.
* Work closely with Project Managers and Service Account Managers.
* Create technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
* Support continuous improvement and system stability.
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 5 years’ commercial software development experience.
* Strong experience with Java or another object-oriented language.
* Experience with Oracle/SQL and relational databases.
* Knowledge of Hibernate, JUnit, JMS and XML.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Experience mentoring or leading developers.
* Ability to work independently and under pressure.
* Logistics/warehouse automation experience is desirable.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
