How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Together with our supportive leadership team, we offer a collegiate culture where everyone has a voice, and we encourage collaboration, innovation, and growth.

What you’ll be doing as PA & Legal Team Assistant at Wrigleys Solicitors?

Organise client and internal meetings, preparing agendas, papers, meeting packs and associated logistics.
Prepare, format, amend and proofread legal documents, correspondence, reports, presentations and other client-facing materials.
Support client onboarding and matter opening processes, ensuring compliance with firm procedures and anti-money laundering requirements.
Maintain accurate electronic filing, document management and case management records, ensuring client and matter information remains up to date.
Assist with billing and financial administration, including preparing draft bills, processing invoices, monitoring outstanding actions, supporting expense claims and helping fee earners meet financial targets and client deadlines.
Act as a professional first point of contact for clients and external stakeholders, handling enquiries promptly and building positive working relationships.
Support the delivery of client events, seminars, webinars and networking activities.
Assist with file management, including file reviews, closures and archiving in line with firm procedures.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Business Support team, providing cover during absences and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and efficient working practices.
What we’re looking for in a PA & Legal Team Assistant:

Previous experience in a PA, Legal Secretary, Legal Administrative Assistant or similar professional services role.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional communication and client care skills.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and document/case management systems.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

We are committed to ensuring our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible to all. If you have a disability or long-term condition and need us to make adjustments to give you the best possible recruitment process, please do let us know by contacting our recruitment team.
