HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

We are currently recruiting professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our customer's fleet operating out of Fakenham, Wissington, Corby, March or Boston. This is a great opportunity to be part of ongoing, general-haulage work, working with a well‑organised operation and modern fleet. We are looking for tramper drivers.

Schedule:
Monday - Fridays available with an option for weekend work. However, a variety of shift patterns are available so please give us a call.
Average 12-13 hour shifts.
PAYE: (holiday inclusive)
Monday to Friday £18.00
Saturday £19.05
Sunday £19.61
Minimum 8 hour pay per shift
Duties:
* Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
* Carry out safe, efficient, and punctual deliveries and collections
* Communicate effectively with traffic planners regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
* Remain compliant with EU Tachograph and WTD Driver Hours
Job role:
* Full UK Driving Licence with C+E Entitlement
* Current DQC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum 2 years' commercial driving experience, however all applications will be considered
* Must be punctual and reliable at all times
* No more than 6 penalty points (No DD's or DR's)
* A sound knowledge of Drivers Hours' and Working Time Directive Legislation
* Be professional and well presented at all times
