Financial Services | Regulatory Transformation | Data & Analytics
Match Performance is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join a major regulatory data transformation programme within financial services.
This is a hands-on role working with complex regulatory and entity data to help transform how supervisory teams identify risk, prioritise interventions and make data-driven decisions.
You’ll work as part of an experienced analytics team, engaging directly with supervisors and stakeholders to turn complex data into meaningful insights, dashboards and analytical tools.
What you'll be doing
* Analyse complex regulatory, entity, holdings and transaction datasets
* Identify trends, anomalies, concentrations and emerging risks
* Develop dashboards and self-service analytics using Tableau / Power BI
* Use SQL to interrogate and integrate large, multi-source datasets
* Work with AWS, including S3, DynamoDB and Athena
* Assess and improve data quality, validation and controls
* Enrich data using sources including GLEIF and Companies House
* Work directly with supervisors to understand requirements and turn feedback into practical analytical solutions
* Support the testing and validation of new regulatory data and reporting capabilities
What we're looking for
You'll need strong experience in:
SQL | Data Analytics | Tableau / Power BI | AWS | Data Quality | Stakeholder Engagement
Just as importantly, we're looking for someone who is:
* Self-driven and comfortable working without close supervision
* Adaptable when requirements and priorities change
* Confident engaging senior business stakeholders
* Able to translate complex data into meaningful business insight
* Resilient and persistent in a fast-moving, high-pressure programme
Experience within financial services, regulation or regulatory reporting would be highly advantageous.
