How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    The Opportunity

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and commercially minded Licensing Assistant to join a successful and growing business.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with well-known brands, managing multiple projects and building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

You’ll play an important role within the licensing function, helping to manage the day-to-day requirements of a portfolio of established brands and ensuring projects progress smoothly from initial concept through to final approval.

This is a varied role where attention to detail, communication and organisation are key.

    The Role

As Licensing Assistant, you will support the wider licensing team across a range of projects and brand accounts.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    * Supporting projects through the full approval process, from initial concepts through to final production.

    * Managing the day-to-day requirements of allocated brand accounts.

    * Liaising with external brand partners and maintaining strong professional relationships.

    * Coordinating concept and product approvals.

    * Ensuring submissions contain the correct information and meet relevant brand requirements.

    * Tracking deadlines, approvals, product information and key account activity.

    * Maintaining accurate databases, spreadsheets, trackers and brand information.

    * Following up on outstanding approvals and proactively identifying potential delays.

    * Working closely with internal departments to ensure projects remain on track.

    * Coordinating meetings and assisting with meeting preparation.

    * Preparing professional correspondence and general communications.

    * Supporting the team with compliance requirements and ensuring agreed processes are followed.

    * Providing general support to the wider licensing function when required.

    About You

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, commercially aware and naturally proactive.

You may already have experience within licensing, brand management, administration, merchandising, product development or another fast-paced commercial environment.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys taking ownership, managing deadlines and working with a variety of people.

    Why Apply?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-moving, ambitious and collaborative business where you’ll gain excellent exposure to licensing, brand management and commercial operations.

You’ll work alongside an experienced team, develop valuable industry knowledge and have the opportunity to make a real contribution to the success of the licensing function.

If you’re organised, commercially minded and looking for a varied role where you can develop your career, we’d love to hear from you.
