How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    AV Project Manager - Residential

    Location: London and Home Counties
    Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

    What You'll Be Doing
    As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

    You'll:

    Manage projects from design through to installation, commissioning and handover
    Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
    Coordinate design, engineering, programming and installation teams
    Develop and manage project schedules and delivery plans
    Monitor budgets, resources and timelines
    Identify risks and resolve issues before they become problems
    Attend and lead project meetings
    Coordinate materials, equipment and labour requirements
    Maintain project documentation and reporting
    Support testing, commissioning and client handovers
    Ensure quality, health & safety and company standards are maintained
    Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and project partners
    Travel to project sites as requiredWho We're Looking For
    You may already be an experienced Project Manager.

    Or perhaps you're currently an Assistant Project Manager or Project Coordinator looking for the next step in your career.

    Either way, you'll need:

    Strong organisational and planning skills
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
    Confidence managing multiple projects simultaneously
    Commercial awareness and budget management skills
    A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
    The ability to work independently and as part of a team
    Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and project management software
    Willingness to travel to project locations when requiredIndustry Experience
    Previous experience within any of the following sectors would be advantageous:

    Audio Visual (AV)
    Smart Home Technology
    Home Automation
    Construction
    Electrical Services
    Building Services
    Technology IntegrationExperience with systems such as Crestron, Lutron, KNX, Control4 or similar is beneficial but not essential.

    If you have strong project management skills and the desire to learn, full training and support will be provided.
