How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are seeking a passionate, creative and enthusiastic Teacher of Music and Art to join a thriving secondary school and become part of its supportive and committed Performing Arts and Art departments. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational educator to plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the curriculum, helping students develop their creativity, confidence and practical skills while fostering a lifelong appreciation of the arts.

    The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a supportive team and teach a combination of Music and Art across the Key Stages, contributing to an inclusive learning environment. Inspire students to develop their creativity, confidence and practical skills. Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

    We would also welcome applications for a job-share or part-time position. This could be an excellent opportunity for a specialist Music or Art teacher looking for a part-time role. We are particularly interested in hearing from enthusiastic educators who are passionate about inspiring young people and helping them achieve their potential.

    The successful candidate will:

    * Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and creative lessons.

    * Teach Music and/or Art across the relevant Key Stages.

    * Monitor, assess and support student progress effectively.

    * Have a proven track record working in UK Schools

    * Recent experience of teaching within a secondary education.

    * Have Qualified Teacher Status
