Your new role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, commissioning, and maintaining specialist machinery at customer sites across the UK and overseas. You will respond to breakdowns, carry out fault-finding and repairs, provide technical support, conduct preventative maintenance visits, and build strong customer relationships. This is a hands-on field-based role combining engineering expertise with customer service and regular travel.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be a qualified Mechanical Engineer with strong technical and problem-solving skills. You will hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel throughout the UK and internationally. You should have knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and under pressure. Mechanical and electrical knowledge, customer service experience, and experience delivering technical training would be advantageous.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £41,000 per annum, a company vehicle and paid overtime for hours worked above 42.5 per week.
