The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate, creative and inspirational Music Teacher to join a supportive school in Leeds.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who can inspire pupils through performance, composition, listening and practical music-making, while maintaining high expectations for achievement and behaviour.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, high-quality Music lessons across the relevant key stages.
Develop pupils' skills in performance, composition, musical theory and listening.
Inspire creativity, confidence and a lifelong appreciation of music.
Use assessment effectively to support pupil progress.
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND.
Maintain high standards of behaviour, achievement and professional conduct.
Contribute to concerts, ensembles, productions and extracurricular activities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school.

QTS or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for Music.
Excellent classroom and behaviour-management skills.
High expectations of every pupil.
A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
Enthusiasm for contributing to the wider musical life of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
