The Role
As a Senior Hair Stylist, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent salon experience, ensuring every client leaves feeling confident and looking their best. You will be responsible for providing professional cutting, colouring, styling and finishing services, while offering thoughtful advice and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver professional cutting, colouring, styling and finishing services to a high standard.
* Carry out thorough client consultations and recommend suitable styles, colours and treatments.
* Build strong relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business and loyalty.
* Provide expert advice on aftercare, products and ongoing hair maintenance.
* Recommend suitable retail products and salon treatments in a consultative way.
* Keep up to date with current hair trends, techniques and industry developments.
* Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and professionalism.
* Contribute to a friendly, positive and supportive salon culture.
* Support the salon in achieving high standards of service, client care and retail performance.
About You
We are looking for a talented and reliable stylist who is passionate about hairdressing, client service and producing work they can be proud of. You will be confident working in a professional salon environment and comfortable delivering a high-quality client experience.
Essential Requirements
* NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Hairdressing qualification, or equivalent.
* Proven experience working in a professional salon environment.
* Strong cutting, colouring, styling and finishing skills.
* Excellent consultation and communication skills.
* Friendly, professional and reliable approach.
* Genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
* Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider team.
Desirable Experience
* An existing client following would be welcomed, but is not essential.
* Experience with advanced colouring techniques.
* Confidence recommending retail products and treatments.
* Interest in ongoing training, trends and continued professional development.
