3 Shift Pattern - Training & Progression - Weekends Off
You'll be the technical lead on shift, the person the shift leader leans on, the one the rest of the team comes to when something's not straightforward.
Day to day that means fault-finding on electrical and PLC-controlled equipment, planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and genuine involvement in improvement work that actually stops the same fault coming back.
The site runs modern production lines and there's real scope to get involved in installations, commissioning and CI projects, not just keeping the lights on.
To be considered you'll need:
* A genuine time-served background (NVQ Level 3 / HNC)
* PLC Fault finding experience
* Strong pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge
* Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
More important than ticking every box is the right mindset, they want someone who works to root cause, takes ownership on shift and wants to improve how the place runs rather than just react to it.
No weekends on this one either so when Saturday comes round, you're actually free to catch up with friends and family, not recovering from a shift or gearing up for the next one.
