Job Title: Production Operative
Area: Hertfordshire
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Days) 8 hrs
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £26k plus depending on experience
Our client specialises in manufacturing made to measure wooden packing cases and arranging full export packing services to transport valuable goods across the world. They have major customers across all sectors including medical and scientific, aerospace, industrial and fine art. In business for more than 40 years
Key Responsibilities:
* Working with timber and plywood to build and produce crates, packing cases and pallets for our clients' products.
* Using power saws
* Nail guns
* Drills
* Other hand tools
* Cutting foam for crate inserts
* Forklift operation
* On-site packing for customers
* Local customer deliveries when required
* Working to high standards of quality and health & safety
* Physical and varied work (heavy lifting is involved)

Salary is according to skills and experience. Paid overtime is available at busy times.
