About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Probate Lawyer to join a well-established and respected law firm at its newly opened Bishop's Stortford office.
The successful candidate will join a growing team and be responsible for managing a varied caseload of probate and private client matters, providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout what can often be a sensitive and complex process.

Key Responsibilities
Managing a caseload of probate and estate administration matters from instruction through to completion.
Advising clients on a range of probate and estate administration matters.
Preparing and submitting applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration.
Dealing with the administration and distribution of estates.
Preparing relevant legal documentation and correspondence.
Liaising with beneficiaries, executors, financial institutions and other professional advisers.
Providing clear, sensitive and professional advice to clients.
Managing matters efficiently while ensuring a high level of client service.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong probate experience who is confident managing their own caseload and dealing directly with clients.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience handling probate and estate administration matters.
Strong technical knowledge of probate and private client work.
Excellent communication and client-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
The confidence to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision.
A professional, empathetic and client-focused approach.
The ambition to develop and progress within a growing legal practice.
