How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Marc Daniels are working with a fast-growing, PE owned Infrastructure business to appoint an FP&A Manager. As FP&A Manager you will be responsible for creating the FP&A capability from the ground up, designing the processes, systems, reporting frameworks and team structure required to support a fast-growing business.

You will act as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders, providing insight, challenge, and guidance to support key commercial decisions.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Owning the group / business unit P&L view, including monthly management reporting, commentary and insight into drivers of revenue, gross margin, opex, capex and profitability.
    · Leading the budgeting and forecasting process - designing the calendar, templates and methodology for annual budgets, rolling forecasts and long-range plans.
    · Producing regular forecasts (e.g. monthly/quarterly) and updating outlook for revenue, costs, cash and key operational metrics in collaboration with department heads.
    · Performing detailed variance analysis (actual vs budget/forecast/prior year), identifying root causes and translating these into clear narratives for senior stakeholders.
    · Building and maintaining financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment cases, headcount planning and scenario analysis.
    · Developing and tracking KPIs and performance dashboards that give visibility on commercial performance across the business.
    · Partnering with leaders across functions to improve financial accountability, challenge assumptions and support better commercial decision-making.
    · Contributing to the design and enhancement of financial systems, reporting tools and data processes to improve speed, accuracy and insight.
    · Supporting board, executive and investor reporting packs with robust analysis and commentary.
    · Mentoring and developing FP&A and finance talent as the organisation scales.

    About You

We're looking for an ambitious FP&A leader who thrives in high-growth environments and enjoys building functions rather than simply managing them.
    You will likely possess:
    · ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
    · Significant FP&A leadership experience within a technology, SaaS, software, digital or high-growth environment.
    · Proven experience building or transforming FP&A capabilities.
    · Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders at executive level.
    · Advanced financial modelling and strategic planning expertise.
    · Experience working within venture-backed, private equity-backed or high-growth businesses.
    · Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    · The ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-moving environment
    Salary description

    £100000.00 - £110000.00 per year
