How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Your new company

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Software Developer with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 expertise to join a large and progressive organisation undertaking a significant digital transformation programme.

Working within a highly collaborative Digital and Technology function, you will take a leading role in the design, development and integration of business-critical applications, with a particular focus on Dynamics 365, the Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services and enterprise integrations. You will help shape technical solutions, provide technical leadership to development teams and ensure the delivery of secure, scalable and user-focused digital services.

    Your new role

Lead the design, development and enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions and associated integrations.
Deliver scalable applications and enterprise solutions across the Microsoft technology stack, including Azure and Microsoft 365.
Design and implement robust APIs and integrations between Dynamics 365 and other business-critical systems.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
Lead proof-of-concept development, prototyping and solution demonstrations.
Champion Agile/Product development practices, code quality and test-driven development.
Review technical designs and code produced by colleagues, providing mentoring and technical leadership.
Ensure solutions are secure, resilient, scalable and aligned to organisational standards.
Manage and collaborate with third-party suppliers and technology partners.

    What you'll need to succeed

Extensive hands-on experience developing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
Strong .NET development expertise, including C#, ASP.NET and related Microsoft technologies.
Proven experience developing REST APIs and integrating enterprise systems.
Experience building and supporting solutions within Microsoft Azure.
Strong understanding of data integration, platform architecture and application design.
Experience of Agile software development methodologies.
Knowledge of Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps and Power Automate, would be advantageous.
Experience working with technologies such as SharePoint, Sitecore, K2 or Xamarin would be beneficial.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership within multidisciplinary teams.

    What you'll get in return

Opportunity to shape and influence a major Dynamics 365 and digital transformation programme.
Exposure to modern Microsoft technologies including Dynamics 365, Azure and Power Platform.
    Collaborative and supportive technology environment.
    Flexible hybrid working arrangements.
Excellent learning, development and career progression opportunities.
Competitive salary up to £50,000 and comprehensive benefits package including very generous public sector holidays and pension scheme.
