About Romi
Romi is a London-based company rethinking short-distance urban mobility by optimising the everyday errand economy. Positioned between micromobility and car-sharing, we provide an on-demand mobility solution designed for quick, practical city trips. Whether it’s a commute, a shop, or a quick run across the borough, Romi gives users a faster, simpler, and weather-proof way to get things done. We’re launching with a pilot fleet and building a scalable, data-driven platform focused on high utilisation, smart fleet operations, and real-world user behaviour.

- Oversee charging, maintenance, and vehicle readiness
- Define how we operate physically (hubs, service points, vehicle flows)
- Work with local councils (parking, permissions, compliance)
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including:
- Councils and parking providers
- Infrastructure and parking partners
- Suppliers and operational vendors
- Support fundraising and strategic discussions where relevant
- Identify and solve operational and business bottlenecks quickly
- Help design and improve systems as we scale
Who We’re Looking For
- 3+ years experience in operations / startups / consulting or similar
- Strong business mindset with deep understanding of how companies operate end-to-end
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous and unpredictable environments
- Hands-on and execution-focused
- Structured thinker and strong problem solver
- Strong communicator, confident interacting with external stakeholders
- Bonus if:Experience in mobility, logistics or other operations-heavy businesses
- Exposure to working with external stakeholders (e.g. Partners, regulators, investors)
- Strong analytical or problem-solving background
Compensation
- Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)
- Equity package is available for early hires, with significant upside as the company scales
This role is for you if:
- You work well in fast-changing environments without losing structure
- You’re excited about building something from scratch
