How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This time, we are looking to speak with HCPC Registered Clinical Embryologists who want to work in a high‑volume clinic operating 7 days a week. The team is known for excellence in reproductive genetics, PGT, and complex case work - ideal for embryologists who want to deepen their technical exposure.

As a Clinical Embryologist you will specialise in human reproductive biology, performing all laboratory procedures to deliver treatment to patients. The role ensures accurate laboratory results, maintains high standards of patient care, and upholds regulatory and quality standards throughout all embryology processes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with the laboratory team to deliver excellent patient care.
    • Ensure safe practices, reporting incidents appropriately and swiftly.
    • Help identify areas of improvement within the laboratory.
    • Handle clinical and non‑clinical communications with patients, including scheduling, information requests, and general queries.
    • Assist in monitoring and supporting the management of laboratory supplies and inventory to ensure resources are available as needed.
    • Support the organisation of maintenance for laboratory equipment, ensuring everything is properly documented.
    • Support or conduct audits to ensure compliance with laboratory standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Witness procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy in critical laboratory processes.
    • Assist with the management of Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) cycles, from documentation to results administration.
    • Assist with cleaning and maintaining laboratory areas.
    • Support the movement of samples between centres.
    • Perform all laboratory processes to the highest standard and in compliance with the clinic's policies.

    Qualifications

    • University degree in a relevant field (Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology).
    • HCPC Registration

Please note that the clinic operates 7 days per week and this role will be required to work approximately 1 in 4 weekend shifts.

Please also note that visa sponsorship is not available.
