Hydrogen is working with a leading international law firm who are looking to add a 2-5 PQE Associate to their London practice.
The team advises both fund sponsors and major institutional investors, giving associate exposure to the full lifecycle of private funds. Its practice spans private equity, infrastructure, credit, real estate and venture strategies, with particular strength in sophisticated fund launches, co-investment and secondary transactions.
You will work on the establishment and structuring of private investment funds, including drafting and negotiating LPAs, PPMs, subscription documents, side letters and investment management arrangements. The role also covers investor-side mandates for pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurers and other institutional capital, alongside work on governance, economics, carried interest and co-investment arrangements.
About you
You will ideally be an England & Wales-qualified solicitor with around 3-5 years' PQE gained within a recognised investment funds or asset management practice. You should have solid experience of fund formation and structuring, limited partnership arrangements and the principal documentation involved in private funds work.
