How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Supply Chain Specialist

    Fixed-Term Contract (Start Date: ASAP) | Approx. £77K | London (On-Site)

Role Summary We are seeking an ownership-driven Supply Chain Analyst to join our fast-paced Supply Chain Operations team. Operating at the intersection of inventory management, supplier compliance, and warehouse operations, you will take full end-to-end responsibility for logistics outcomes. We need a proactive problem-solver who doesn't just complete tasks, but identifies issues, fixes them, and builds robust mechanisms to prevent recurrence.

    Key Responsibilities

    Inventory Management & Control

    • Own end-to-end inventory accuracy: drive cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.
    • Monitor inventory health metrics and proactively mitigate risks before they impact the business.

    Supplier Compliance & Vendor Management

    • Manage supplier performance against SLAs, lead times, and quality standards via scorecards and quarterly reviews.
    • Onboard new suppliers seamlessly while ensuring strict policy and regulatory compliance.
    • Identify process gaps and champion technology-driven improvements.

    Operational Issue Resolution & Support

    • Resolve daily receiving and shipping exceptions within a strict 24-hour window.
    • Act as the primary escalation point for disruptions across inbound, outbound, and returns.
    • Develop, track, and improve KPIs and SLAs to drive ongoing operational excellence.

    Culture & Continuous Improvement

    • Lead by example with a high bar for ownership—treat every failure as your own to fix.
    • Foster an inclusive culture and drive process improvement ideas from ideation straight through to implementation.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 4-5 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or inventory management within a 3PL or international company.
    • Hands-on experience executing cycle counts, stock adjustments, and ageing analysis.
    • Proven track record of managing supplier compliance, SLAs, and corrective actions.
    • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modelling).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and hold yourself accountable for end-to-end results.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • Direct experience working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and WMS platforms.
    • Proficiency with SQL or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight) for self-service reporting.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Asana, MS Project).
    • Background in a high-growth, fast-paced e-commerce or fulfilment environment
