How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Delivery Lead / High-Growth MGA / Bristol(Hybrid) / Full-Time / up to £65,000 + Bonus

    About the Company

Our client is a high-growth specialty insurance business dedicated to bringing technical excellence, operational agility, and structured delivery to the insurance marketplace. Operating across claims, underwriting, operations, technology, and partner networks, they are actively scaling their capability to launch new products, enhance core systems, and drive continuous operational improvement.

As they continue to expand their change portfolio, they are looking for a proactive, results-driven Delivery Lead to provide structure, governance, and pace across key business initiatives.

This role offers absolute project ownership and high visibility across senior leadership, serving as the critical link between internal operations, business stakeholders, software providers, and strategic market partners.

    About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Change, this is a hands-on, high-impact role designed for a delivery specialist who thrives on turning strategy into tangible business outcomes. You will act as the operational engine across cross-functional change projects—managing project roadmaps, mitigating risks, driving business readiness, and ensuring seamless execution from initiation through to handover.

Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will work closely with claims, underwriting, technology, and external partners to ensure new systems, automated workflows, and operational capabilities deliver measurable outcomes without slowing down business momentum.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead end-to-end delivery of business change initiatives, maintaining clear project plans, milestones, RAID logs, and delivery roadmaps.
    • Act as the primary link across internal teams (claims, underwriting, tech), external software vendors, and delivery partners to coordinate actions and dependencies.
    • Drive change implementation and business readiness by coordinating training, communications, process updates, and go-live adoption plans.
    • Support process improvement and automation initiatives, working alongside operational teams to eliminate waste and redesign workflows.
    • Maintain robust project governance, delivering accurate reporting packs for executive steering committees and tracking delivery against agreed KPIs.
    • Monitor delivery commitments across third-party software providers and strategic partners, holding external stakeholders accountable for outcomes.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Strong project management capability with absolute comfort maintaining governance, managing dependencies, and driving fast-paced delivery.
    • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and influencing skills, capable of managing expectations across operations, leadership, and external partners.
    • A commercial and analytical mindset that resolves blockers quickly while balancing speed, detail, and quality.
    • Deep understanding of how operational change impacts colleagues, ensuring seamless transition into business-as-usual operations.
    • High comfort level operating autonomously in an evolving, high-growth environment where priorities require structured flexibility.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Proven track record delivering business change, operational transformation, or process improvement projects.
    • Direct experience in insurance, MGA, claims, underwriting, or broader financial services environments is highly desirable.
    • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects, third-party software vendors, and multi-organizational delivery dependencies.
    • Strong knowledge of formal project governance methodologies; qualifications such as PRINCE2, AgilePM, or Scrum are a plus.

    Role Details

    • Full-time position (35 hours per week, Monday–Friday).
    • Competitive base salary up to 65,000£
    • Hybrid working policy (combining home working with regular days in the Bristol office).
    • Significant visibility across the executive team with direct input into the broader change portfolio and operational strategy.
