How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Family Care Programme Advisor (HR) Client-Based Role (Financial Services)

    Salary: £DOE

    Hours: 37.5 per week / Monday-Friday

    Job Type: Permanent / Full Time

    Location: Client site based in the Farringdon/Blackfriars area of London


    Please note that this role is primarily office-based and requires attendance in the office. There are no exceptions to this requirement, although one day of home working per week is available.


    Purpose of the Role

    We are seeking a Family Care Programme Advisor to join one of our clients in the financial services sector. Based on-site in London, you will act as a subject matter expert, supporting employees and managers across an EMEA workforce spanning more than 20 countries.

    Working across a diverse range of legislative frameworks, company policies, and cultural contexts, you will provide consistent, accurate, and compassionate guidance throughout the employee leave journey, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.

    This role owns the administrative and advisory processes for EMEA wide locations, ensures accurate and timely case management, supports the FCP Lead on programme-wide initiatives, and provides guidance, mentoring, and escalation support to the FCP Administrator.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Act as the key contact for complex and high-level parenting cases across EMEA
    • Provide specialist guidance to employees and managers on parenting leave policies, entitlements, processes, and country-specific requirements
    • Manage escalations, collaborating with the wider HCM team as required to ensure timely and effective resolution
    • Manage end-to-end parenting leave processes across EMEA countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely communication
    • Maintain knowledge of country-specific policies and work closely with HR partners to deliver a seamless employee experience.
    • Support continuous process improvements
    • Lead and facilitate engagement activates
    • Own and maintain intranet content, Family Care programme resources and documentation
    • Represent the Family Care Programme in internal initiatives and help promote engagement across the business
    • Support the Family Care Programme Lead with year-end activities and programme delivery
    • Contribute to key projects and initiatives that enhance the Family Care Programme and employee experience
    • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the Family Care Programme Administrator.
    • Build strong partnerships with HCM colleagues and stakeholders to ensure a seamless employee experience.


    Essential / Desired Experience and Qualifications

    • EMEA HR advisory experience, including complex and sensitive case management (Essential)
    • Knowledge of EMEA leave policies and multi-country HR processes (Essential)
    • Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment (Essential)
    • Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills (Essential)
    • CIPD Level 5 (or a relevant degree) (Essential)
    • Experience supporting EMEA-wide projects (Desirable)
    • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach (Desirable)
