How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About this position:

We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to support the restart and finalisation of an ongoing project at a large brewery. The project was previously paused and is now restarting, with the aim of increasing brewhouse capacity and allowing faster filling through the installation of new valve blocks and a dual filling system.
The equipment installation is approximately 90% complete, with the remaining scope focused on mechanical and electrical connections, commissioning, start-up and ramp-up. This role will take ownership of the project through to operational handover.

    Job Responsibilities:

    * Manage the restart and finalisation of the existing project.

    * Supervise the mechanical and electrical connection of valve blocks.

    * Coordinate contractors and ensure work is completed safely and to programme.

    * Oversee commissioning, start-up and ramp-up activities.

    * Support the implementation and operation of the dual filling system.

    * Coordinate between mechanical, electrical and operational teams.

    * Monitor project progress, identify issues and drive activities through to completion.

    * Ensure all outstanding works are completed and the system is successfully handed over to operations.

    Experience Required:

    * Previous Project Engineering experience within an industrial environment.

    * Strong experience with valve blocks, installation and commissioning.

    * Good mechanical and electrical knowledge.

    * Proven experience managing and coordinating contractors.

    * Experience overseeing commissioning, start-up and ramp-up activities.

    * Ability to take ownership of an existing project and drive it through to completion.

    * Brewery, food & beverage or process industry experience would be advantageous.

    * Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
