How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are looking for an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Developer to join our Data Team within the BI division. Your work will be central to creating and improving SAC reporting templates and dashboards, helping drive strategic decision-making across the organisation.

    What you’ll do as an SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Developer

    Collaborate & Create
    Work closely with business stakeholders to design engaging SAC stories that bring the product owner’s vision to life.
    Translate business requirements into effective, user-focused SAC reporting solutions.
    Work collaboratively with SAC developers, Power BI developers, Data Engineering teams, and other technical colleagues to deliver high-quality reporting products.
    Contribute to the continuous improvement of SAC reporting capabilities, templates, and dashboards.Maintain Excellence

    Oversee and maintain a portfolio of SAC artefacts, including models and stories, ensuring they remain accurate, relevant, and fit for purpose.
    Ensure SAC reporting solutions are developed and maintained to a high standard, with appropriate data structures, calculations, and visualisations.
    Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing SAC solutions, reporting processes, and user experience.
    Support the ongoing development and optimisation of SAC reporting capabilities across the organisation.Resolve & Support

    Swiftly address incidents and provide technical support to users experiencing issues with productionised SAC stories.
    Investigate and troubleshoot issues across SAC models, stories, data sources, calculations, and reporting processes.
    Work closely with Data Engineering and other technical teams to resolve data and integration issues.
    Provide expert guidance and support to end users and stakeholders.Meet & Exceed

    Ensure that all requirements are clearly understood and delivered according to the product backlog.
    Work within continuous delivery and Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality reporting solutions.
    Contribute to testing, quality assurance, and successful implementation of SAC developments.
    Ensure solutions meet business needs while maintaining appropriate technical and reporting standards.Communicate Effectively

    Clearly articulate delivery expectations and maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders at all levels.
    Work with stakeholders across the business to define requirements, demonstrate solutions, and gather feedback.
    Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and compelling presentations and demonstrations.
    Develop training documentation and lead training sessions with end users of SAC reports.Advocate for SAC

    Promote the benefits and capabilities of SAP Analytics Cloud across the organisation.
    Proactively identify opportunities to showcase SAC and demonstrate how it can support business decision-making.
    Lead demonstrations of SAC capabilities to stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite.
    Drive maximum value from SAC by encouraging effective adoption and best practice across the organisation.
    Key relationships and interactions

    Working in the Data Team, within the BI division and reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence.
    Working as part of a team of SAC and Power BI developers.
    Daily interaction with the Data Engineering team, who provide the underlying data.
    Working with stakeholders at all levels across the business to define requirements and build and test solutions.
    Proactively creating opportunities to showcase the capabilities of SAC through demonstrations to all levels of the business, up to and including C-suite.
    Preparing training documents and leading training sessions with end users of the reports.
    Working closely with digital workplace peers and other IT teams, including product management, project delivery, applications, infrastructure, security operations, enterprise/network operations, and IT operations management.
    What you should bring to the role

    Essential Experience

    Continuous Delivery: Experience working in continuous delivery environments and cross-functional teams using Agile methodology.
    Presentation Skills: Proven experience presenting to senior stakeholders, with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and compelling presentations.
    Business Acumen: A knack for quickly understanding business needs, future trends, opportunities, and constraints across various domains.
    Essential Technical Skills & Qualifications

    SAC Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, including modelling, data blending, complex calculations, predictive analytics, and planning.
    Data Integration Skills: Proficiency in working with both live and acquired data sources.
    BW/4HANA Proficiency: Deep experience with writing queries on BW/4HANA.
    ETL & Data Warehousing: Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehouse concepts, with the ability to work effectively with data engineering teams and underlying data structures.
    Reporting & Dashboard Development: Demonstrable experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise reporting solutions and dashboards.
    Data Modelling & Analysis: Strong analytical and data modelling skills, with the ability to develop effective models, calculations, and visualisations within SAC.
    Agile Delivery: Practical experience delivering analytics and reporting solutions within Agile and continuous delivery environments.
    Desirable Experience

    Experience working within a large, complex organisation with multiple stakeholder groups and business domains.
    Experience delivering enterprise-scale reporting and analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud.
    Experience working closely with Data Engineering teams to develop and consume data products.
    Experience delivering user training, documentation, demonstrations, and adoption activities for analytics solutions.
    Experience working with senior stakeholders and C-suite audiences to communicate technical capabilities and business insight.
    Desirable Technical Skills & Qualifications

    ETL & Data Warehousing: A background in ETL processes and data warehouse management is desirable but not essential.
    SAP Datasphere: Demonstrable experience with SAP Datasphere would be a plus.
    Power BI: Experience with Power BI or other enterprise business intelligence platforms would be advantageous.
    SAP BW/4HANA: Further experience with SAP BW/4HANA data modelling, queries, and reporting environments would be beneficial.
    Relevant SAP Analytics Cloud, data analytics, business intelligence, or related technical certifications would be advantageous.
