How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    This role partners with senior leaders across a portfolio of schools, providing expert HR support on employee relations, organisational change, TUPE, policy implementation and workforce planning. You'll act as a trusted advisor, coaching managers through complex people matters while helping to deliver key people initiatives across a multi-site education environment.

    We're partnering with a large national not-for-profit organisation to recruit an experienced Interim Regional People Partner to support a portfolio of schools across the North Midlands, Stoke and Runcorn regions.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships and providing practical people solutions in a multi-site environment.

    Description

    Partner with senior leaders to deliver expert HR support and advice
    Lead on complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability matters
    Support organisational change and TUPE projects
    Develop, review and interpret HR policies and procedures
    Coach and guide managers through a broad range of people issues
    Build strong relationships across a diverse portfolio of schools

    Profile

    Proven HR Business Partner or People Partner experience
    Strong employee relations background with the ability to manage complex casework
    Experience supporting organisational change and TUPE activity
    Confident advising and influencing senior stakeholders
    Able to interpret policy and provide pragmatic, solution-focused guidance
    Experience within Education, NHS, Public Sector or Not-for-Profit environments would be highly advantageous

    Job Offer

    £50,000 - £54,000 salary
    30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
    Local Government Pension Scheme
    Predominantly home-based role
    Travel to sites 1-2 days per week initially, reducing as relationships are established
    Business travel reimbursed in line with Government mileage rates
