How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Siemens Teamcenter SME – Contract

    £600–£750 per day Outside IR35
Up to £800 per day for DV-cleared candidates
Predominantly Remote | Preston / Warton
Initial 3–6 months | Extension anticipated
    Active SC clearance essential

TXM Recruit is supporting a major UK engineering and technology programme and we’re looking for an experienced Siemens Teamcenter Subject Matter Expert to support the early Concept Model phase of a significant digital engineering programme.

This is not a Teamcenter administrator role.

We’re looking for someone who can operate as a technical authority — someone with the depth of experience to challenge assumptions, advise on architecture and configuration, and help the delivery team make the right decisions early in the programme.

You’ll be working across areas including:

    * Teamcenter architecture and data-model decisions

    * BOM management, workflow, change and release

    * Configuration vs customisation decisions

    * Teamcenter / Siemens NX integration

    * ERP and downstream manufacturing interfaces

    * Review and assurance of emerging designs and configuration

    * Knowledge transfer and capability building within the delivery team

We’re particularly interested in people who have worked across multiple Teamcenter implementations and who understand how to shape the platform around programme requirements rather than simply accepting out-of-the-box configuration.

Experience within defence, aerospace, nuclear or another regulated engineering environment would be highly relevant.

    Active SC clearance is mandatory.
Candidates who are eligible for SC but do not currently hold active clearance cannot be considered. DV clearance is highly desirable and may attract a rate of up to £800 per day.

The assignment is predominantly remote, with around 1–2 days onsite every two weeks in the Preston / Warton area.

If you’re an experienced Teamcenter specialist with active SC or DV clearance and would like to discuss the programme confidentially, apply directly or message me
