The Role
Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer ready to take the next step?
This is a great opportunity to move into a Lead Engineer position where you'll remain hands-on technically, while taking more responsibility for the day-to-day running of the engineering shift.
You'll coordinate maintenance activity, support a team of engineers and work closely with production to keep the site running safely and efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead and support a team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers
Carry out reactive, planned and preventative maintenance
Prioritise engineering tasks to reduce downtime and improve OEE
Coordinate engineering activity with production
Help drive high standards across maintenance, safety and compliance
Support engineers on shift and help develop the wider team
What We're Looking For
Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias
Recognised engineering qualification - Apprenticeship, C&G, ONC, 17th/18th Edition or equivalent
Experience within manufacturing, FMCG or food production
Confident communicator who can take ownership and lead from the front
Someone ready to move into a Lead Engineer / Engineering Team Leader position
Hands-on, practical approach with a focus on reliability and keeping production moving
