On offer is a permanent position with a well-established successful business, working a 4 on 4 off days shift pattern that gives you real routine and consistency. You'll be trusted to run the shunting operation and keep the site moving safely and efficiently.

This is a business where operations, dispatch and production have to work hand-in-hand, and your role is central to that. If you take pride in standards, communication and keeping things organised under pressure, you'll enjoy the responsibility this position gives you.

You'll coordinate trailer and vehicle movements across site, supervise the shunting team, complete checks and records, and work closely with production, transport, dispatch and maintenance to prevent delays.

The Role:

Lead and coordinate safe vehicle/trailer movements to support production and transport on site
Supervise the shunting team, manage priorities, and maintain accurate yard paperwork/records and handovers
4 on 4 off day shift pattern (site-based role)

The Person:

Full clean UK driving licence essential
Background in shunting/yard/logistics/transport operations (or similar) and confident supervising a small team
Safety-focused, organised, strong communicator with a practical problem-solving approach
