How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role

    As an Area Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in driving sales growth across your territory, supporting both existing customers and new business development opportunities.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Growing sales of genuine automotive parts to independent garages and workshops.
    Building strong relationships with existing customers and developing account performance.
    Identifying and converting new business opportunities across the territory.
    Promoting manufacturer campaigns, initiatives, and sales promotions.
    Delivering engaging and consultative sales presentations.
    Expanding and maintaining a robust customer database.
    Providing exceptional customer service to drive customer loyalty and retention.
    Planning and managing your territory effectively to maximise sales opportunities.
    Monitoring local market activity and identifying growth opportunities.
    Working collaboratively with dealership and manufacturer teams to support business objectives.What We're Looking For

    We're looking for a motivated and commercially minded sales professional with a passion for the automotive industry and a talent for building long-term customer relationships.

    We'd particularly like to hear from candidates with experience in:

    Automotive parts sales.
    Motor factors.
    Dealership parts departments.
    Automotive aftermarket sales.
    Trade parts operations.
    Account management or business development within the automotive sector.You'll also bring:

    A proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills.
