How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Electricity Network Design professional with 33kV experience to join a growing utilities business where you'll take ownership of new network designs and have genuine influence over technical standards and how the design function develops.

This is a newer business at an exciting stage of growth, providing the opportunity to play a key role in the development and adoption of new electricity infrastructure. You'll manage the design of new IDNO networks, working across EHV, HV and LV projects and partnering closely with ICPs, developers and key stakeholders to take projects from initial requirements and design approval through to energisation and adoption.

    The Role:
    * Manage electricity network design for large developments
    * Lead design approvals, technical standards and project acceptance
    * Work closely with ICPs, developers and key stakeholders
    * Review POC applications, quotations and asset value claims
    * Support projects through energisation, completion and network adoption

    The Person:
    * Strong electricity distribution network design background
    * Experience designing networks at 33kV
    * Good understanding of IDNO / ICP projects and network adoption
    * Strong knowledge of relevant engineering standards and regulatory requirements
    * Comfortable taking technical ownership and leading discussions with clients, developers and stakeholders

This is a great opportunity to join a growing utilities business where you'll have genuine influence over the design function, helping shape technical standards, processes and delivery as the organisation continues to expand
