About the role and school
Teach Plus are working with a welcoming and well-regarded early years setting in Kensington, West London, who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to work within a nurturing EYFS environment where children are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and curiosity. The successful Level 3 Nursery Practitioner will play an important role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing while working closely with experienced early years professionals.
The school is a well-established independent nursery setting serving families within the local Kensington community. The setting has a strong ethos centred around providing a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where every child is supported to reach their potential. The experienced leadership team promotes high standards of care and education, with a strong focus on children's individual needs, positive relationships and learning through play. Job Responsibilities
Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework and individual learning needs
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage children's curiosity, communication and independence
Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Observe, assess and record children's progress, contributing to their individual learning and development
Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive nursery environment that promotes positive behaviour and wellbeing
Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to provide consistently high standards of care, education and safeguardingQualifications/Experience
Level 3 EYFS Childcare Qualification or above
Experience as a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner or in a similar role
Strong EYFS knowledge
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
