HR Advisor

Portfolio HR & Reward are proud to be representing a world-renowned manufacturing business that is currently seeking a HR Advisor to join them on a permanent basis.

This role is fully office based with their offices based in Stoke on Trent.

This role is offering a salary range between £32,000 and £37,000.

As a successful HR Advisor, you will be responsible for;

Serving as the first point of contact for HR guidance, coaching managers to build confidence in people management and promoting early, informal dispute resolutions.
Managing a diverse ER caseload (including discipline, grievances, performance, and absence), supporting with investigations, hearings and escalating high risk cases when appropriate
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and contract preparation while maintaining accurate HR systems, metrics, and policy improvements.
Ensure all HR activities, employee records, and case documentation strictly comply with UK employment legislation, GDPR, and ACAS guidelines.

The ideal HR Advisor will have the following;

Proven experience of handling high-level, high-volume employee relations cases
Experience working in a manufacturing/retail setting is desirable, but not essential
Available to start quickly due to business-critical requirements
