🎓 The Role
Are you an experienced Multi-Trades specialist looking to move into Further Education, or an established Multi-Trades Lecturer looking for your next opportunity?
Aspire People are working in partnership with Further Education providers across Newport to recruit experienced Multi-Trades specialists and lecturers.
You don't necessarily need to have worked as a Lecturer previously. If you have strong practical industry experience, relevant qualifications and the ability to support and inspire learners, we'd love to hear from you.
🔧 The Role
You may be responsible for:
Delivering practical and theory-based Multi-Trades sessions
Demonstrating professional techniques and safe working practices
Supporting learners to develop practical trade skills
Preparing learners for vocational qualifications and employment
Assessing practical work and monitoring learner progress
Providing constructive feedback and supporting individual development
Supporting learners with SEN/ALN and differing learning needs
Contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement
✅ What We're Looking For
Level 3 qualification in a relevant trade or Multi-Trades discipline
Strong practical experience across multiple construction/trade areas
Current knowledge of industry standards and safe working practices
Ability to demonstrate practical skills and engage learners
Experience working with apprentices, trainees or learners is desirable
Strong communication and organisational skills
Teaching or training experience is desirable but not essential
Experience supporting learners with SEN/ALN is beneficial
