Client Summary:
Our client is looking for a reliable Fitters Mate to support a short-term maintenance project at a water treatment plant on the South Coast.

The successful candidate will work as part of a two-person team, carrying out straightforward maintenance duties under instruction. No tools are required, as all necessary equipment will be provided on site.

Accommodation (digs) will be provided for the duration of the contract.

For applicants based in Derby, travel to and from the South Coast site will be required, with the successful candidates staying locally throughout the working week. A company van will be provided for travel along with accommodation.

Key Duties:
Working as part of a two-person maintenance team.
Carrying out basic maintenance on a water treatment plant.
Removing nuts and bolts as instructed.
Removing water filters.
Cleaning or replacing filters.
Re-fitting and fastening nuts and bolts.
Following instructions from site personnel.
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
Travelling to and working away from home for the duration of the contract.

Person Profile/Experience:
Reliable and hardworking.
Comfortable carrying out basic manual work.
Able to follow instructions accurately.
Practical and hands-on approach.
Comfortable working as part of a team.
Previous labouring, maintenance, mechanical or industrial experience would be beneficial.

Must be willing and able to travel to South Coast and stay away for the duration.

Derby-based applicants will need to be able to drive to site (company van provided)

Driving Licence - Essential
