Are you an experienced Hair & Beauty Specialist who would like to share your industry knowledge with the next generation?
Or are you already working in Further Education and looking for your next opportunity?
Aspire People are working in partnership with Further Education providers across Newport to recruit experienced Hair & Beauty specialists and lecturers.
You don't necessarily need to have worked as a Lecturer previously. If you have strong industry experience, relevant qualifications and the ability to support and inspire learners, we'd love to hear from you.
💇 The Role
Working within a Hair & Beauty department, you could:
* Deliver engaging theory and practical Hair & Beauty sessions
* Demonstrate professional techniques and industry standards
* Support learners working towards vocational qualifications
* Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback
* Help learners develop their technical skills and confidence
* Prepare learners for employment, apprenticeships or further study
* Support learners with SEN/ALN or additional learning needs
* Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
✅ What We're Looking For
* Level 3 qualification in Hair, Beauty or a relevant discipline
* Strong industry experience within Hair & Beauty
* Up-to-date knowledge of professional techniques and industry standards
* Ability to demonstrate practical skills and engage learners
* Experience supporting learners, apprentices or trainees is desirable
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A teaching or training qualification is desirable but not essential
* Experience working with learners with SEN/ALN is beneficial
