How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Customer Service Advisor – Tewkesbury

    Tewkesbury 

    Full-Time office based 

    £25,000-£27,000 annum basic salary plus bonus £30,000 OTE.

    Are you an experienced Customer Service Advisor looking for your next opportunity within a professional, regulated environment?

    We’re delighted to be working with a market-leading organisation that is expanding its customer service team in Tewkesbury. If you have experience within Financial Services, Insurance, Telecommunications, or another regulated industry, particularly within a call centre or customer-focused environment, this could be an excellent next step in your career.

    Customer Service Key Responsibilities

    As a Customer Service Advisor, you will:

    Deliver an exceptional service to both new and existing customers, resolving queries efficiently, accurately and professionally.

    Contribute to team sales targets and objectives through the selling and servicing of policies, including policy renewals.

    Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and exceed expectations, while always acting in the best interests of both the customer and insurer.

    Handle both inbound and outbound customer enquiries and provide a consistently high level of service.

    Support the wider team and department with administrative tasks, including processing post, issuing cover notes, marketing activities and data inputting.

    Process mid-term adjustments and manage renewal invitations across a range of products.

    Ensure all client documentation is issued accurately and internal records are kept fully up to date.

    Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of product developments, market trends and scheme facilities.

    Handle customer complaints and challenging situations professionally, escalating matters where appropriate, including those that may fall under FCA reportable requirements.

    Actively promote additional products and identify opportunities to cross-sell across the company.

    The successful Customer Service Advisor will have the following skills & experience:-

    We’re looking for candidates who have:

    Previous experience in a customer service role within a regulated environment, such as financial services, insurance or telecommunications.

    Experience within a call centre, insurance claims, account handling, customer service, telesales or sales advisor environment would be advantageous.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine focus on delivering excellent customer service.

    Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft 365.

    The ability to work accurately, professionally and effectively in a busy customer-focused environment.
