How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Work closely with our product and platform teams which are cross-functional and durable, bringing together all the skills required to deliver impactful outcomes. Leadership of the product team is shared between the Product Manager and the Technology Lead, ensuring balanced guidance that bridges product vision and technical execution.

    The role includes supporting production floors abroad, reading logs, investigating faults at the product, infrastructure, and server levels, leading organized and documented solutions, upgrading existing environments, and providing problem-solving for our primary production floors worldwide.
    The support engineer will work closely with the development teams as Tier 2-3 and represent the Company as the professional authority in ongoing work with the technical parties and production floors.

    You will be based in the Cambourne, Cambridgeshire office when you will have the option of hybrid working (at least 4 days in the office and 1 day from you) and you will be part of a multi-site programme, working alongside teams located in California, USA and in Israel. The role is a PAYE temporary contract role for 12-months offering an hourly rate of £21.54 - £36.62 per hour depending on experience plus 25 days holiday pro rata.

    Role Functions:

    * Lead the HW/ATE/SW change (ECO) on new and legacy products and NPI (EOL, Layout update…)

    * Leads Testers procedures for new products (Test station duplication / wiring / testing / Validation/ Change & update / Support)

    * Lead the product during the NPI and legacy products.

    * Leads failure analysis and reliability testing on all critical aspects of product design

    * Support local and worldwide production floors

    * Published effectively report results to peers and management

    * Collaborate with production line ATE engineers to deliver and deploy testers in production line abroad.

    Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

    Mandatory:

    * At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar position

    * B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering or similar

    * Understanding production line testers design and maintenance

    * Deep understanding of electronic design (Analog / Digital / Radio)

    * Knowledge in electronics components, PCB and PCBA design and assembly process, batteries, radio frequency (RF), IR, testing methods, and knowledge in ATE (Automatic Test Equipment)

    * Communication skills, verbal, written, and presentation skills in both Hebrew & English

    * Experience in matrixed worldwide organization and ability to work well in a team environment, including cross-culture.

    * Self-motivated and organized.

    * Strong hands-on expertise with hardware systems, embedded interfaces, networks, instrumentation, debugging, and system-level integration.

    * Problem solver with “hands-on” approach.

    * Excellent team player.

    Advantage:

    * Good knowledge with SQA and Labview tools

    * Experience with RF communication and connected (smart) products

    * Experience of working in complex multidisciplinary projects that requires a high level of technical know-how

    * Experience with manufacturing databases, production data pipelines, and engineering data analysis tools.

    * Experience working with subcontractors, external vendors, CMO production teams, and procurement processes for tester or prototype parts.
