About The Role
Senior Support Leader
As a Senior Support Leader, you will provide hands-on leadership and support to a team of Support Workers, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care. Working closely with individuals, colleagues, families, and external professionals, you will help drive positive outcomes, promote independence, and maintain high standards across the service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and support Support Workers to deliver high-quality care and support.
Coordinate day-to-day service operations, prioritise workloads, and delegate tasks effectively.
Lead shifts and deputise for the Shift Nurse when required.
Act as a key worker, supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals, develop life skills, and maximise independence.
Build positive relationships with families, social workers, and external agencies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Maintain accurate records, reporting, and communication systems in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
Support the admission, transition, and ongoing development of individuals using the service.
Monitor standards, provide coaching and guidance to staff, and act as a positive role model.
Oversee petty cash and support compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, equality, and company policies.
Participate in meetings, training, and continuous professional development to enhance service quality.This role is ideal for an experienced care professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for person-centred support, and a commitment to empowering people to live fulfilling and independent lives.
