In this pivotal role, you will oversee the smooth operation of the workshop, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This will be a very hands-on role.
Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will drive efficiency, quality workmanship, and timely completion of all service tasks.

Responsibilities
* Coordinate daily workshop activities, ensuring all repair and maintenance jobs are scheduled efficiently and completed on time.
* Act as the primary point of contact between technicians, customers, and management to facilitate clear communication and seamless workflow.
* Inspect motorhomes thoroughly using your mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues accurately and assign appropriate tasks to technicians.
* Oversee the use of hand tools and power tools, ensuring safety protocols are followed and equipment is maintained properly.
* Monitor progress on all jobs, providing updates to customers and managing expectations effectively.
* Ensure all work complies with safety standards, quality control procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
* Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and service history for each vehicle to support warranty claims and future servicing needs.
Experience
* Proven experience working with motorhomes or similar large vehicles with strong mechanical knowledge.
* Hands-on proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
* Familiarity with workshop management systems or similar software is a plus.
* Ability to diagnose mechanical issues accurately and communicate technical information clearly.
* Prior leadership or supervisory experience in an automotive or motorhome workshop environment is preferred but not mandatory.
