The Role
As a Food Technology Teacher, you'll inspire students across KS3, KS4 and KS5, delivering engaging and practical lessons that develop culinary skills, nutritional knowledge and confidence in food preparation. We are looking for Food Technology Teachers who:
Hold QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Have experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is highly advantageous).
Have strong subject knowledge in food preparation, nutrition, health and safety, and practical cooking techniques.
Are passionate about delivering engaging and inclusive Food Technology lessons.
Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
Are committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress.
ECTs and experienced Food Technology Teachers are both encouraged to apply.
