How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

They work with customers and supply partners across the UK and Europe, with a strong focus on quality, service, innovation and responsible business practices.
    Role Purpose
The Quality & Technical Supervisor will provide visible, day-to-day quality support within the factory. The postholder will help ensure that products, processes and records meet agreed food safety, legal, quality and customer requirements.
The role combines practical shop-floor quality assurance with controlled technical administration. It is intended for an ambitious quality professional who is ready to take greater ownership and develop, over time, towards a Technical Manager position as the business and their capability grow.

    * Monitor incoming materials, production processes and finished products, escalating concerns promptly.
    * Review production and quality records for completeness, accuracy and timely completion.
    * Provide a regular and approachable quality presence on the factory floor, supporting colleagues to understand and follow required standards.
    * Identify deviations from agreed standards, stop or hold affected activity where authorised, and escalate significant food safety, legality or quality concerns immediately.
    * Support the day-to-day implementation and verification of HACCP, allergen, traceability and other food safety controls.
    * Complete scheduled verification checks and assist with traceability and product withdrawal or recall exercises.
    * Support internal audits, hygiene inspections, GMP audits and preparations for BRCGS, customer and other third-party audits.
    Scope and authority
The Quality & Technical Supervisor is responsible for the consistent execution, verification and administration of agreed quality controls. Overall ownership of the Quality Management System, BRCGS certification, HACCP approval, legal interpretation, customer technical strategy, supplier approval decisions and final technical product sign-off will remain with the designated senior manager until formally delegated as the postholder develops.
The postholder is expected to escalate any actual or suspected food safety, legality, authenticity or significant quality issue immediately and has authority to place affected product or activity on hold in accordance with company procedures.
    Key Performance Indicators
    * Completion of scheduled factory quality, hygiene and verification checks.
    * Accuracy and completeness of quality and production records.
    * Timely identification, escalation and closure of non-conformances.
    * Completion and effectiveness of assigned corrective actions.
    * Factory GMP, hygiene and internal audit performance.
