How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Provide senior leadership with clear reporting, analysis and recommendations on risk and compliance matters.

    * Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, industry standards and contractual obligations.

    * Oversee governance arrangements, including committees, reporting structures, policies and decision-making processes.

    * Maintain effective compliance monitoring and assurance programmes.

    * Lead the review and management of incidents, breaches, complaints and emerging risks.

    * Work closely with property, operations, finance and senior leadership teams to embed a strong culture of risk awareness and compliance.

    * Keep the organisation informed of relevant regulatory and legislative developments.

    * Ensure appropriate controls, audits and assurance processes are in place and operating effectively.

    * Lead and support internal and external audits, inspections and regulatory reviews.

    * Develop and deliver training and guidance to colleagues on risk, compliance and governance.

    * Continually review and improve the organisation's policies, processes and control environment.

    About you

You will be an experienced risk, compliance or governance professional with a strong track record of operating at a senior level.

    Essential experience:

    * Significant experience within leasehold property management.

    * Strong understanding of the risks, legislation, regulation and operational challenges associated with leasehold property.

    * Proven experience leading risk, compliance and/or governance functions.

    * Experience developing and implementing risk and compliance frameworks.

    * Strong knowledge of governance, assurance and internal controls.

    * Experience providing advice and reporting to senior leadership and/or boards.

    * Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

    * Ability to translate complex regulatory and risk issues into clear, practical business recommendations.

    * Strong attention to detail combined with a pragmatic and commercially aware approach.

    What we offer

    * £70,000–£80,000 salary, depending on experience.

    * Hybrid working with a balance of office and remote working.

    * A senior position with significant influence across the organisation.

    * The opportunity to shape and strengthen the organisation's risk, compliance and governance approach.

    * A collaborative environment where your expertise will directly contribute to business performance and resilience.
